TikTok has jumped into the photo-sharing game! Their new app, TikTok Notes, is now being tested in Australia and Canada. We had a chance to download TikTok Notes, and thought we’d provide an early review. The app is a mix of Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest. Users can upload up to 35 photos at a time, along with a title and a description. Hashtags can be used, but posts can't be edited after they are posted. Overall, it's too early to tell whether TikTok Notes will have the algorithm horsepower that TikTok has. With the right tweaks and improvements, this could really challenge Instagram! TikTok is Back! Less than 24 hours after the ban, TikTok’s service has returned to the U.S. The platform shared this message with users. While this is great news for businesses and creators, it’s also a reminder that nothing is certain in social media marketing. The app is still banned from app stores, but those with it downloaded on their phones can access content again. Platforms can change overnight, and relying solely on one isn’t a sustainable strategy. TikTok Notes – 5 things to know about this new social media app. 👀 1. It's a new text and photo-sharing app that looks like a hybrid between Instagram and Pinterest 2. You can discover new content via the ‘For You’ feed 3. You can put a headline on your posts! (Clever feature. Very TikTok) 4. Photos previously shared on TikTok will transfer to TikTok Notes!   5. It's only available in Australia and Canada at the moment. According to TikTok, it's still in its early stages of experimenting. There isn't a ton of content in there and it's unclear what all the functionalities will be. Tell your talents to take advantage of TikTok's long-form posting. With over 550k views on his first post, it is clear TikTok wants to push these types of videos as much as possible. The comments were all positive as well, "I didn't realize this was even 10 minutes. This was the best and longest video I've seen on this app. More videos like this. etc etc" Long term, I think there is a place for longer content on TikTok, but they will need a separate tab for people who are interested in just long or short form. Has anyone else experimented with the new 60 minute upload feature? If so, what has been your experience with it so far?
