  • What is usability? 🤔 (Besides being our favorite word.)  The usability of a digital product depends on the cohesion of 7 key elements:  1. Navigation - How easily can users find what they're looking for 2. Familiarity - The use of conventions promote instinctive decisions 3. Consistency - Which delights pattern-seeking human brains 4. Error prevention - Because a frustrating product is not a usable product 5. Feedback - To show users that their performed action got a reaction 6. Visual clarity - The main function of all elements should be clear communication 7. Flexibility & efficiency - The design needs to be flexible enough to adapt to changes and growth  When these are in harmony, your product is at its peak 👍 #UXDesign #productdesign #usability

  • Imagine asking your banking app, “How could I save on groceries?” and getting a clear answer, complete with helpful charts and suggestions. 🙌 That’s what we created with Finshape: an AI chatbot designed to help people make sense of their money without needing to dig through endless transactions. In just 3 weeks, Gábor Némethi & Fanni Zsófia Kelemen tackled everything from user motivation and visualizing finance data to scripting helpful AI conversations. Discover how to turn a complex generative AI system into a simple, intuitive financial assistant the UX studio way 👉https://lnkd.in/dQMYpz4Z Special thanks to Sára Hanniker & Laura Sima for making this project happen 💚 #mobilebanking #aichatbot #neobank #fintech #productdesign #aiux

  • User interviews are one-on-one sessions with current / would-be users of your digital product / service. This fundamental qualitative research method helps you learn about the attitudes of the interview participants. The goal is to uncover the needs, motivations, and pain points of your target audience. Our #UXresearcher, Dorottya Pala collected 4 scenarios where #userinterviews can be especially useful. Swipe through 👉

𝗖𝗚𝗠 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 (𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟭) I've always told stakeholders "we're not the user." But sometimes, life has other plans, and we find ourselves becoming the very users of products we've worked on. When developing a companion app for a continuous glucose monitor (CGM), our target audience gradually came into focus through research. Plot twist: I'm squarely in that target group being an intermittent user in the at-risk population with frequent eye needed on changes in my glucose metabolism. My journey to get a reliable CGM without connectivity issues and no need for calibration involved: - Sourcing a sensor not officially available in Hungary (yes, a grey market parking lot exchange happened) - Navigating technical hurdles when the official app wasn't accessible - Setting up VPNs and alternate app store accounts - Digging through online forums for activation workarounds My mind immediately went to 𝗖𝗢𝗠-𝗕 as I could identify major barriers in all categories. Because I'm personally passionate about this topic and had extensively explored this space for my past project, my high motivation and my capabilities like knowing what I could get and how made it possible. But even with this background, the process was troublesome and discouraging. This experience highlighted the massive barriers that exist: - 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆: Sensors aren't locally available or easily ordered and the cost makes it very hard to obtain with local salaries - 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: The technical know-how required to activate it and then to monitor the values is substantial Only the most motivated and tech-savvy individuals can overcome these hurdles. It strengthened my belief that we need more accessible CGM solutions. What barriers have you encountered with health tech? Has accessibility affected your experience with monitoring tools? In Part 2, I'll share my thought on premium health tech subscriptions (wearable tech with companion apps) and the widening gap between innovative solutions and those who need them most. • The perfect landing page doesn't exi... wait, scratch that. 🙅♀️ The perfect landing page is simply a landing page that does its job: it converts visitors. UX designers base their work on real user behavior, usually with the help of a UX researcher. This way, we can build up unobtrusive interactions and natural flows, which get you measurable results. Imagine your user is blindfolded, placed in a car trunk, driven around, and then suddenly dropped onto your dashboard.  🚗 They have just 5 seconds to scan the dashboard before being blindfolded again. In that short time, can they tell where they are and what they should do next? If not, your dashboard UI, labeling, or visual hierarchy likely needs improvement. What can you do to improve this? ✔️ Use colors and shapes intentionally ✔️ Focus on decluttering and reducing  ✔️ Have a content-first approach  ✔️ Stick to familiar UX patterns and conventions Learn about these and more in our latest blog post 👉 https://lnkd.in/dmxpdqet #dashboarddesign #UIdesign #UXdesign #productdesign
