    The DAW made for me.

    LUNA is the DAW made for me and my reason to invest again in music software after ages. I like the look and feel and the logical, practical and visual workflow. Things are there where I expect them and things work like I expect them.

    I hope UAD keeps LUNA as straight and clear as it is and dont overpack it with more and more and more rarely used features for a few until its overloaded and inacessible as many other DAW's are right now.

    Better than that use your power to make it even more stable (there are still some crashes here and there under Win10) and resource-saving.

    For me it is the tool I am waiting for long.

    it looks great and has potential, but no MIDI control of plugin parameters is a deal killer for me.

    When I last tried LUNA, it didn't support MIDI control of plugin or transport parameters. For me, that's a deal-killer.

    Other than that, it does look nice, and I'm sure has some very nice workflow enhancements over more legacy apps. But without the MIDI support, I had to move on. If that becomes available in the future (or now, I haven't looked recently), I would definitely try it again.

No UA hardware of any kind is required. LUNA runs natively on your computer.

LUNA runs on supported macOS and Windows systems. See our LUNA system requirements article for full system requirements. An iLok account is required for managing LUNA licenses. We support iLok USB keys for portability, but one is not required.

While an iLok.com account is required, LUNA is authorized to your computer. No need to be online or buy a dongle to get started. Don’t worry, if you don’t have an iLok account, we’ll create one for you during the signup process.
