WATCH: Biden Judicial Nominee HUMILIATED by Basic Legal Question

Biden judicial nominee Kato Crews was stumped when he was asked a basic legal question by Republican Sen. John Kennedy during his confirmation hearing on Wednesday. Crews is currently a magistrate judge in Denver, and has been tapped for a district court seat by Biden.

Watch the exchange below:

“Tell me how you analyze a Brady motion,” Sen. Kennedy asked Crews.

“Senator, in my time on the bench I have not had occasion to address that, so it’s not coming to mind at the moment what a Brady motion is,” Crews responded. The judge went on to demonstrate that he, in fact, had no clue what a Brady motion is.

“I believe that the Brady case involved something regarding the Second Amendment,” said Crews. “I have not had an occasion to address that.”

Of course, a Brady motion has nothing to do with the Second Amendment. Senator Kennedy was referring to the case of Brady v. Maryland, which was decided in 1963, and requires that prosecutors fully disclose to the accused all exculpatory evidence in their possession.
