Immersive Technologies Scavenger Hunt

FREE through the month of March only, in honor of Immersive Technologies Month!

Explore the world of immersive technologies during the month of March with this fun and easy Immersive Technologies Scavenger Hunt! Featuring 20 interactive activities to choose from, students will learn about immersive technologies including augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and the metaverse. Students simply choose 10 activities to complete, create a presentation to provide evidence of their work, and optionally submit to the Student Showcase to build their resume!

Here's a glimpse at some of the scavenger hunt activities:

- try to make a 3D object using Blender

- find an AR or VR training program in your state

- research different AR glasses and make an ad for your favorite

- explore the Career In STEM Metaverse

- and more!

Here is a list of technologies that students may need access to depending on which scavenger hunt options they choose. All are free accounts: SkyView app (available in app stores), Snapchat app (available in app stores), Spatial (account is NOT needed to view; simply open in a private/incognito browser), and Blender (open source 3D design software). If there is something you don't want your students to choose as an option, simply use the Adobe sign & fill tool to cross it out off the options sheet.

Includes 3 page PDF document with scavenger hunt menu of choices and student directions. Will take students 60 to 90 minutes to complete depending on which scavenger hunt items they choose.
