Thank you to all who applied.** There’s never been a better time to work in AI hardware given the insatiable demand for AI compute. Rain AI is getting ready to scale and experience rapid growth, and we need a team of top AI talent ready to meet the increasing customer demand we’re seeing. Specifically, we’re #hiring for a senior recruiting leader to be our go-to person that will help us grow successfully.     You would create, drive, and own the end-to-end recruiting strategy for Rain AI during this huge inflection point. This is both a “roll up your sleeves” role (we need our first ATS!😊) and a hugely strategic role for Rain – as you would also be a driver of company-wide strategies around organizational planning, retention, and talent brand. While you would be an IC at first, you will quickly grow into a people manager here at Rain AI as you build the foundation of the recruiting organization at Rain. I cannot emphasize enough how imperative you will be to Rain maturing into a successful AI accelerator business! This person would directly report to me, but also partner extremely closely with our senior leadership and CEO.    I’m specifically looking for someone with deep technical recruiting experience, experience managing a team, and experience scaling teams quickly. Really, I’m looking for a partner to me on the broader people strategy here at Rain, building the foundation of this organization alongside me. Needless to say....we’d work very closely! :)   Technology is changing faster than ever because of AI, creating unprecedented opportunities for this world. What Nvidia has done is nothing short of impressive. And we continue to see demand for chips outstrip the supply - even amongst the hyperscalers. We need more chips. And we need new architectures that will significantly reduce the cost of compute and scale what's possible with AI. Thanks for shoutout Gene Munster!

Stephanie Palazzolo does a great job explaining what "edge AI" is in layman's terms in her new newsletter and the future benefits. Attaching two of the screenshots here. The "edge" is the end device where the computations are performed - your phone, your watch, etc; instead of performing them in the "cloud," and then sending that information to/from devices. In a future of running LLMs on the edge (like GPT-3/ ChatGPT), you'll have a device that is more personalized to you. The privacy benefits are huge since there is no data exchange with the cloud, and much lower latency for that same reason. We have a long way to go to enable this at scale, but this is the future.

"The next major stock index will be managed by AI." Recommend following Douglas Clinton's AI newsletter, where he touches on how AI will impact various aspects of our lives. Its impact on investing and the stock indices will absolutely be disrupted. Imagine being able to have a back-and-forth conversation right now with ChatGPT or a similar bot. It would also significantly lower the bar for new, younger investors (regulation aside of course ;)).
