Hunter Biden’s ex-lovers testify in federal investigation into financial affairs

Two of Hunter Biden’s former girlfriends, including the mother of one of his daughters, have testified to a federal grand jury investigating his murky financial dealings.

Zoe Kestan, 28, and Lunden Roberts, 30, appeared before the panel in Wilmington, Delaware, on Feb. 15, during which they were reportedly questioned about the spending habits of the president’s son while they were together.

Kestan testified for about five hours and provided details about Biden’s lavish spending in 2018 when they were together at high-end New York City hotels and mansion-shopping with him in California, a source told the New York Post. Biden also allegedly instructed her to take out thousands of dollars at a time from an ATM to cover miscellaneous expenses. Kestan said she did not know how Biden came by the money, according to the source. Fox News Digital obtained emails showing that Biden transferred $2,750 over the course of two days in November 2018.

Roberts, who shares a 3-year-old daughter with Biden, also testified for several hours that Tuesday morning, the Daily Mail reported. She declined to speak to reporters as she left the courthouse.

Despite the younger Biden dating Kestan shortly after he impregnated Roberts, Kestan said he told her nothing of the child. Biden claimed in his 2021 memoir that he didn’t remember his “encounter” with the “the woman from Arkansas,” as he called Roberts, though she was also an employee of his investment firm. A judge ruled in January 2020 that Biden was the father after a DNA paternity test and ruled that he had to pay child support despite Biden’s protests that he had no money or income due to his 2017 divorce from his first wife.

Biden, now 52, revealed in 2020 that David Weiss, U.S. attorney for the District of Delaware, was investigating his taxes. The investigation also encompasses his foreign business dealings with China.

Biden, who married his second wife in 2019 and has five children, said in April that he was “cooperating completely” with the investigation and insisted that he is “100% certain” he will be cleared of wrongdoing.
