To say that Pat Sajak is bewildered by the latest wins on Wheel of Fortune would be an understatement.

It all began on Monday night when contestant Lisa Kramer won the $100,000 bonus round. She was only the second person to claim the coveted prize in the current season 39, which kicked off in September, and she unknowingly started a historic streak. On Tuesday, fellow competitor Mark Baer was ecstatic when he solved his puzzle — even though Pat revealed his prize with a head shake. “Huh, that’s never happened,” he said before showing that Mark had just won the second consecutive $100,000 bonus round.

But if that wasn’t surprising enough, contestant Bree Yokouchi kept the lucky streak going on Wednesday when she earned herself the third consecutive $100,000 bonus round. Unlike the previous nights though, Pat was more shocked than excited.

After taking a second to collect himself, he didn’t even try to explain how the show had three $100,000 bonus rounds in one week. Instead, Pat did the only thing he thought of — he tossed the envelope, threw his hands up and ran off stage. “I'm outta here. I’m outta here,” he said on his way out. “That's it. I'm through. I’m outta here.”

With that, Bree was left on stage to celebrate on her own, and she held back tears when Wheel of Fortune cohost Vanna White congratulated her. Following a brief commercial, Pat returned back to the stage and shared how impressed he was not only by the extraordinary win but also by Bree’s ability to solve the “daunting” puzzle.

Meanwhile, fans watching from home immediately took to Twitter to share their thoughts and even drop some non-confirmed theories as to why it happened. “This is crazy! I can't believe it. This has never happened before,” one person wrote. “Pat is hilarious @patsajak,” a different fan said. “Once is crazy enough, two is all the way bonkers, but three times??? I want to believe this but I think the producers had something to do with this. Had to be. It’s just amazing in itself. I’m not a strong believer in luck but if this is actually the case I just might start,” a follower commented.

Although Pat jokingly said that competitors should try for a fourth consecutive win on Thursday night, he later shared that he would be stunned if that actually happened. “That would be ridiculous,” Pat told his daughter and Wheel of Fortune social correspondent, Maggie Sajak. “That would be virtually impossible.”

Who knows, it might just happen!
