Giant bull moose attacks Iditarod sled dog team, four dogs seriously injured

.

A massive bull moose attacked the sled dog team of a rookie musher Thursday during a training run for the Iditarod race in Alaska.

The giant moose stomped on at least four of Bridgett Watkins’s dogs for over an hour, and it continued the attack after the musher fired every bullet from her gun into the animal, according to a report.

Four dogs were seriously injured and only saved when Wastkins’s friends arrived with a larger caliber firearm to kill the bull moose, she said.
