Our Mission

CFF defends freedom to proclaim and practice the Christian faith by:

  1. Alerting governments to the suffering of persecuted Christians;

  2. Monitoring and disseminating news and analysis of violations of Christian liberty worldwide;

  3. Encouraging the Church to pray, voice concern and provide for persecuted Christians;

  4. Building strong relationships, sharing knowledge and other resources with people and organisations dedicated to defending Christian freedom;

  5. Providing aid to Christians in need - tangible evidence that they are not forgotten

Accurate knowledge inspires strategic prayer and effective advocacy initiatives:

  • CFF is dedicated to raising awareness amongst concerned Ministers and Members of Parliament, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade [DFAT] officials, Churches, Diplomats, Journalists and Human Rights advocates;

  • Representing the persecuted Church at the annual DFAT - NGO Human Rights Forum;

  • Encouraging the participation of organisations representing Christian refugees;

  • Responding to invitations to contribute to Parliamentary Human Rights inquiries and has given evidence to Parliamentary panels;

  • Hosting annual conferences which enable Christian scholars, and survivors of persecution to share their knowledge and testimonies to inspire and empower all Christians to become effective defenders of our faith;

  • Contributing to preserving freedom in Australia by exposing deceptive beliefs hostile to Christianity which lie at the root of intensifying persecution.
