Cindy Crawford recreates iconic 1992 Pepsi ad for charity

Cindy Crawford’s still got it.

The supermodel, 55, returned to the original location of her iconic 1992 Pepsi advertisement to recreate the image for a good cause.

Posing in a tight white tank top, cutoff jean shorts and pointy red stilettos in front of the Halfway House Café in Santa Clarita, Calif., Crawford looks like she hasn’t aged a day in 29 years. It helps that hairstylist Peter Savic — who created the voluminous curls in the original ad — was on hand to style her brunette locks once again.

Celebrity makeup artist Sam Visser gave Crawford that trademark matte ’90s makeup as well, while photographer David Yarrow ensured the recreation came together seamlessly.

Crawford and Yarrow teamed up to travel back in time to raise funds for the American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, where the model’s brother was previously treated for leukemia. Crawford revealed that they have already raised more than $1 million for the cause through art sales.

“Truly gorgeous ! And for a great cause,” Reese Witherspoon wrote. “Cool in every way,” commented Helena Christensen.

The model is indeed a major devotee of the soda brand, and even previously reimagined the ad in 2018 for a Super Bowl commercial, appearing with son Preston Gerber at a gas station to chug some pop.
