John Dorney, Jessica Regan and Tom Salinsky are film fans and Oscar fans. At the beginning of 2018, they set themselves a task. Put the names of all the Academy Award Best Picture winners in a hat. Draw them out in a random order. Research, watch and then discuss each one in turn. And because it was 2018, it had to be a podcast. That process is now completed and new listeners may prefer to use this feed https://bestpickpod.com/bpfeed2.rss which arranges the episodes from earliest film (Wings from 1928) to most recent (Everything Everywhere All At Once at the time of writing) instead of the random order in which we released the episodes. But the podcast is continuing, broadening its remit and taking different approaches in different episodes.
