INTRODUCING

MORE THAN AN INTRO to

A Course in Miracles

An 8-week live group program created to give you a strong foundation for understanding the basic teachings of A Course in Miracles.

HI! I'm Uma.

I’m a Mind-Body Coach and spiritual mentor.

Question: Have you ever noticed that the spiritual path can be a crazy roller coaster of ups & downs?

One minute you’re in post-meditation bliss and the next you’re overwhelmed by anxiety or self-doubt. (Not fun.)

This emotional roller coaster ran my life until I had a huge a-ha moment.

I realized that I was bringing a belief in unworthiness to my spiritual practices.
In other words, I was “doing” spirituality from a place of lack. A sense of not-enough-ness.

Whatever I did — whether it was a Dr. Joe Dispenza meditation or grounding or Wim Hof breathing or chanting or other practices — I was sure I had to work really hard at it in order to see the benefits.

But “doing” spirituality from this place of lack meant that one minute I would be flying high and the next minute that voice of unworthiness would pop up and say “you’re nothing. You are small and limited and weak and and you're going to have to do so much more than this in order to overcome your fundamentally flawed nature”. It would bring me down. Hence, the roller coaster.

A major turning point for me came when I learned how to forgive myself and others, dissolve fear, let go of guilt, and practice self-acceptance (and not by saying affirmations).

I started to feel safety, ease and profound inner freedom. Plus, my creativity and divine guidance increased by leaps and bounds. It has been amazing!

It’s obviously still a work in progress. But this major shift has been the biggest blessing ever.

And this huge, huge change came from one simple thing: studying A Course in Miracles and actually understanding what it means.

In the beginning, I didn’t “get” the Course. I found it confusing to read, I got frustrated and gave up. The book sat on my shelf for years until I felt the call to open it up again. This time around, the universe conspired to set me up with the right teachers and I got what I’d missed out on originally: a proper introduction to the teachings of the Course.

I learned what the terminology actually meant. Also, I finally had a safe place to ask all my questions.

Having a rock solid foundation made all the difference in the world. I just wish I’d had it sooner! It would have helped me so much.... and saved me so much time.

In short, the Course has been nothing short of life-changing in the best possible way. And I want you to experience this too.

I'm teaching "More Than an Intro" so that you have a SIMPLE, EASY and FUN way to start enjoying the inner peace & healing of this path now.

You don't need to buy the book to take this class. Everything you need will be provided as PDFs.
PLEASE NOTE: If you want to purchase the book for yourself, please note that I’ll be teaching from the Complete and Annotated Edition edition of the Course (also known as the CE edition) which is published by The Circle of Atonement. You can find it here.
* See the FAQ section below for info on why I use the CE edition.

On the spiritual path, intellectual understanding is useful but it doesn’t take the place of direct experience. In More than an Intro, you’ll have both. In addition to giving you a strong conceptual foundation for understanding ACIM, I’ll also be guiding you through powerful exercises so you can actually FEEL and savor the peace the Course has to offer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to buy the book?

A: No. Handouts will be provided.

Q: Will the classes be recorded?

A: Yes.

Q: Is this a live class?

A: Yes. There will be a mix of teaching, discussion and practice. All live.

Q: I'm new to the Course. Is this for me?

A: Yes! This is a wonderful way to dive into ACIM. We'll go through the core teachings so you have a strong foundation. Whether you've never picked up the book before, or if it's been sitting on your shelf for years gathering dust, this is the perfect entry point to this spiritual path. (I wish I'd had this option when I started).

Q: I'm a long time Course student. Is this for me?

A: Yes! We’ll be covering much more than just the basics. If you’re a long-time Course student looking to deepen your understanding and love of the Course, you are in the right place.

Whether you’re a curious newcomer to the Course, a long-time Course student,
or somewhere in between — everyone is welcome!

Q: I’m not religious. Is this for me?

A: Of course! Everyone is welcome. A Course in Miracles isn’t a religion. It is literally a course of study designed to train your mind to think with your Higher Self.

The Course is a first and foremost a practical path of spiritual awakening. As such, we’ll be focusing
on the immediate healing effect of the Course on your life and your relationships. Whether or not you choose to continue studying the Course, I trust this class will benefit you anyways.

Q: I want to buy the book. Which edition do you recommend?

A: This one. I highly recommend the Complete and Annotated edition — also known as the CE (or the purple book). I prefer it to the Foundation for Inner Peace edition — also known as the FIP (or the blue book). You can find it here.

I own and have studied both editions and I can not recommend the CE highly enough. For me, the CE is richer and deeper and easier to understand. The primary reason I prefer the CE is that contains nearly 45,000 words from Helen Schucman’s original handwritten notes for the Course that are not included in the FIP. Those 45,000 words are some of the most life-changing words in the entire Course.

That said — the Course is the Course. It's the same message in all the editions. If you have the FIP and don't want to invest in the CE edition, that's absolutely fine. The FIP is going to bring you profound healing because the Course is the Course, and it's powerful no matter what!

THE GIFTS OF THE COURSE 🎁

The Course promises many benefits to those who walk its “path of light”. Some of these are:

  • Deep peace of mind
  • Release from guilt
  • Learning to access inner guidance
  • Discovery of your life’s purpose
  • To help you remember who you are
  • Happiness and joy in your daily life
  • A life lived in love instead of fear, peace instead of conflict, and joy instead of pain
  • Harmonious and loving relationships based on forgiveness
  • The experience of God’s presence
  • Release from a sense of powerlessness, loss and lack
  • Being truly helpful to others

It promises that as we progress, we will become “miracle-minded” as well as:
trusting, honest, gentle, joyful, defenseless, generous, patient, faithful & open-minded.

It also promises that in the end, we will experience the pinnacle of the spiritual journey: union with the divine.
