Hot Cocoa Muddy Buddies

This delectable dessert snack makes good use of The Spice House's classic hot cocoa mix.

Ingredients

2 cups corn flakes cereal
2 cups mini wheats cereal
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup classic hot cocoa mix
1/3 cup freeze dried marshmallow, or regular if unavailable

Preparation Instructions:

Place cereal in a large mixing bowl

In a microwave-safe dish, combine chocolate chips and oil. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth. (If you don’t have a microwave you can do the same with a double boil. I prefer the double boiler).

Pour chocolate over cereal and gently stir with a spatula, until all of the pieces are coated.

Place cereal mixture on a lager baking sheet and let dry.

In a Ziplock bag add the powder sugar and Spice House cocoa classic. Add the coated cereal mixture and marshmallows. Shake off excess powder and serve immediately.
