People are buying muscly bodysuits so they can look ripped without the gym
Put on a bit of timber during lockdown? You don't necessarily need to rush out to the gym as you can fake your way to a muscly physique
Coming out of lockdown with a bit of a beer belly? There’s no need to fret – as you can now fake your way to a ripped physique.
Taobao is among the retailers selling bodysuits that make you look muscly.
They’re made from 100% silicone and you have the option of buying a full torso, upper body or lower bodysuit.
Unfortunately though, the fake muscles are pretty pricey.
One eBay seller is flogging a half-bodysuit for AUD $270 (which is around £150).
This is more than the cost of an annual membership to some gyms – although admittedly, chiselling abs in real life requires a lot more effort.

UK Active data shared with the government in February claimed gyms are "low risk" locations for spreading Covid-19 and should be prioritised for reopening.
The research showed that out of the 75 million visits to to gyms and leisure centres between their reopening last July and the third national lockdown at the start of January, just 1,277 Covid-19 cases were reported.
Venues still have to take measures to protect customers too.
All gyms have to adhere to COVID-safety measures such as social distancing and deep cleaning.

And if all goes to plan, we should see an end to all restrictions on June 21.
Happy days!
