Chelsea Handler says Gov. Cuomo ‘ghosted’ her after asking him on date

Gov. Andrew Cuomo is looking for love — but only in New York.

The three-term Democrat was grilled about “ghosting” Chelsea Handler on Thursday — a day after the comedian admitted to asking him out but never hearing back.

“I’m a big fan of Chelsea’s and she is great and we have fun but on my dating life, you know, I am only dating at this point in-state residents,” Cuomo, 62, said during an appearance on “The View,” presumably referring to the still-raging COVID-19 crisis.

He chuckled when a clip aired from Wednesday’s episode showing Handler gushing over the guv and his response to the coronavirus pandemic.

“He came on the scene, you know, looking like this big Italian hunk,” she said. “I want to flatten your curve, you can flatten my curve and we can both apex together.”

The 50 Cent ex, 45, who lives in Los Angeles, said she asked Cuomo out on a date a few months ago.

“He did say yes, and then I never heard from him,” she added.

Cuomo, whose 14-year relationship with ex-Food Network star Sandra Lee ended in September 2019, said he’d be open to one.

“If Chelsea changes her residence, then maybe we can work it out,” he said.
